Live Right Ghana focuses on the quality of life for vulnerable women. Initially Live Right Ghana aimed to build capacity and skills so vulnerable women could attain decent employment. With time, our approach has included many other aspects that lead to a healthy lifestyle for vulnerable women and girls. Thousands have benefited from Live Right Ghana programs on:
Our primary stakeholders are vulnerable women and girls in communities where we work. Initially Live Right Ghana worked exclusively in Ashaiman. Our positive reputation and results attracted invitations to implement in 10 regions in Ghana, where we now also work. At a broader level, our stakeholders include civil society, local and national government entities, local NGOs (implementing partners), international NGOs (funding partners), philanthropists and private sector entities that are engaged in Health and WASH-related work.

Khadija Osman
Founder & Board Chair
Khadija Osman is a founding member and currently the Board Chairperson of Live Right Ghana. With a strong academic foundation in development studies, Khadija holds a BSc in Development Planning and an MSc in Development Policy and Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
She has been an integral part of Live Right Ghana since 2010, playing a key role in resource provision and linkages, as well as shaping the NGO’s strategic direction and policy advocacy efforts.
Currently residing in the UK, Khadija brings a global perspective to her role as board chairperson, combining grassroots experience with policy-level insights to advance equitable development initiatives in Ghana and beyond.
Kwame Grundow
CEO, Live Right Ghana
Currently, Kwame serves as Live Right Ghana's CEO. He has more than seven years of combined experience in menstrual hygiene management and NGO’s operations. He facilitated the NGO’s menstrual hygiene management education both at rural and urban areas of Ghana.
Kwame is focused on empowering girls and women’s groups to promote the switch from single-use sanitary pads to washable menstrual kits and to address related socio-economic issues that directly affect them. He believes this approach will help address the period poverty gaps and make our intervention more sustainability.
Kwame attended Highbury International School, Tamale Secondary School and went on to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where he graduated with a Bsc in Development Planning and an MSc in Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership.
Suburatu Ibrahim
Programs Manager, Live Right Ghana
Subra is currently the Programs Manager for Live Right Ghana. Subra was a project officer with Live Right Ghana before rising to the position of a programs manager. I am passionate about working with communities on health promotion, menstrual hygiene management and entrepreneurial skills training to create positive and lasting change for the underprivileged.
Over the years, I have coordinated various projects with diverse groups and organizations including SEND Ghana, Days for Girls International, Friends from Norway among other relevant institutions and stakeholders dedicated to making the world a better place.
As a programs manager, I am deeply inspired by the resilience and strength of the people I serve, and it is this connection that motivates me every day.
Subra attended jujiedayiri primary and JHS, jirapa senior high school, and through to the Islamic university college of Ghana where she obtained a degree in human resource management.
